How does one let go of his favorite part of life? How does he live with his choice to forsake all for this new life? Not until I asked these questions do I even remotely understand them. Christ gave up every thing for the goal set before him. He let go of his power. He let go of his position. He left everything behind for a goal. With a purpose. His purpose was to bring us to him. He left everything to die on a cross for me. He gave up the life he loved so that he could share that life with us. Question: What is your treasure right now? Is it worth holding onto? When you die will it go with you? The accumulation of things and friends is great but you can not take them with you. To many times, my treasures have been people. People and friendships that helped me get through this life. I made them my treasure. I made them my strength. I want to be the man with all the friends who know I am here for them no matter what. I make myself as indispensable as possible so that I am needed and that is where I place my value, my treasure. No more. My treasure is in heaven. I must let go of all I value here, now. I must let go of what I deem important. I must turn away from it so that I can take my treasure in heaven and share it with all I meet. God is first and foremost. Everything else will fall into its place. Praise the Lord for questions. If I didn't ask questions I would never find answers. And I would never talk to myself so believe in Christ! And watch Vegitales! It makes all things better! Happier! Funner!--God Bless.
